Zapsi Energy

Zapsi Energy extends the Zapsi base unit with the ability to accurately measure electricity consumption. The unit includes 3 current transformers that simply snap onto all three electrical phases during installation. The conductor diameter of one phase must be specified prior to installation. For Zapsi Energy we supply 3 types of these current transformers as standard: 10, 16 and 24 mm diameter. Thicker cables can be solved by using a Rogowski coil. Zapsi Energy stores the value in Amps and Volts. The consumption is calculated in the server part of the solution.

The device is designed to be mounted in the machine control cabinet.

  • 3 phase measurement. So you can get information from each phase:
    • current stream
    • current voltage
    • current wattage PQS
    • From these variables we calculate the apparent power of the machine, the power that affects the energy consumed, which is invoiced by the supplier of that energy.
