Zapsi Energy is an innovative extension of the Zapsi base unit that enables precise measurement of electricity consumption. This device includes three current transformer sensors that are easy to install on all three electrical phases. Before installation, it is important to determine the diameter of the conductors for each phase. Three standard current transformer variants with diameters of 10, 16, and 24 mm are available for Zapsi Energy. Rogowski coils can be used for higher-current cables.
Zapsi Energy records current values in amperes and voltage values in volts. The actual calculation of energy consumption is performed on the server side of the solution, where the collected data is further analyzed and used to effectively monitor and optimize electricity consumption. In this way, Zapsi Energy provides accurate and comprehensive information on electricity consumption, which is key to the effective management of energy resources.
